Welcome back to the internet! Where did you go over Lent…some of the scenery in these photos (especially the first few) is fantastic!
The first few photos are taken near Ambleside in the Lake District, looking out over Lake Windermere. Then there is a picture of Gibside, near Durham, a couple taken near Trentham in Staffordshire, several taken in Durham, and the last few taken at Bamburgh.
I have heard many wonderful things about the beauty of the Lake District, and I see they are true.
How was the squirrel?
Rather tasty, actually. I made a squirrel soup with it. My housemates and I all really enjoyed it. It tasted like a gamey chicken.
How exotic!
